BioHello! Welcome. You are probably here because I friended you. So I should probably explain exactly what you have been friended by, eh?
If you followed a post from six word stories here, it probably wasn't me. In fact, I know it wasn't. It was an IC post. Probably it was Imogene. I would be willing to bet it was Imogene. She's a 14 year old queen who used to be a pirate. That's about it.
Charloft people...my characters made me do it! They want to read your characters journals, they say.
This is my writing journal, I really only post writing here. Originally it was used to post a Nanowrimo novel, so if you look at any post before March 8th 2006 it's guaranteed to be badly written supernatural thriller. You are warned. There is some other bad writing too.
I got a little skiddish about lj a few years ago due to some dRaMaZ, so I no longer use my personal journal, but I am trying to keep up this one and my travel journal (elinnotabinikki). I'm very eager to confer with other writers, But please don't get upset if I friend you and rarely comment on personal entries. Like I said, I am skiddish about lj drama.
That said, I AM eager to lend support to other writers.

About me: This was hard.I have been writing since I was in high school. What seems like a long time ago, I graduated with a degree in Nonfiction from the University of Pittsburgh. Now I am living in Japan and I teach English at elementary schools. Aside from writing and reading I also love history, travel and drawing,
What I write: I've had writers block on a lot of my projects for so long that they almost all need to be reworked, which has me a touch upset. When I do write it's mostly fantasy of varied descriptions, but I also write other things, mainly humor and memoir. I wrote a (poor) novel this November for Nanowrimo, which turned out to be a 1920's detective story with a door to another dimension. My latest endeavor before that was a fantasy novel set in an iron age village. But the important thing in my stories is never the plot, it's always the characters and the relationships. I love dialogue.
What I read: A variety. I love children’s books and fantasy. Of late I have also been reading classics and literary fiction (which I find to be very broad and somewhat confused genres)

Could you edit another's writing? I am good at pointing out good details and helping in early stages, I love marking up what I like and what I think can be stronger in an early draft. I can't spell, and I can't check your grammar. I love to talk to people about their writing and their characters though.
Other writers that I'm looking for: Others who get really excited about their characters! Anyone who thinks I can help them or they would like to help me.
